How to use
- Paste CSV or TSV text, or upload a file.
- Check the detected delimiter and whether the first row is a header.
- Copy or download the JSON array.
Turn CSV or TSV into a JSON array
The parser follows RFC 4180: quoted fields may contain delimiters, quotes and line breaks, and blank lines are skipped. With a header row each line becomes an object whose keys are the column names. Convert the other way with the JSON to CSV converter.
The tool looks at the first rows and picks the separator (comma, semicolon, tab or pipe) that produces consistent columns. You can override it if the guess is wrong.
